In Japan this store is called Don Quijo. A Japan mega chain store in Singapore? Do you know what that means? You are able to find lots of Japanese made products! In Japan, Don Quijo is popular place among locals and tourists. Most outlets open for 24hour, some are 7 storey high. Selling food, drinks, skincare, electrical appliances, toys. That why it is such a big deal when Don Quijo extend its branch to Singapore. However I have to say, this Singapore outlet, is much smaller than the one in Japan. and not all popular Japanese products are found in this place (probably due to Singapore laws and regulation) But it is better than nothing. At least I know where I should go, if I grave for some Japanese snacks (loveee its senbei) and skincare (currently in love with Japanese facial cotton) Pictures at the second level. This is the level which I love most ;D Selling skincare, snacks, drinks, toys and electrical appliances I am surprised that it has a supermarket too.
But it is cheaper? I don't know. So if you come to Singapore. You may want to visit this place. It will feel like you have traveled to two countries paying one destination price. It currently (as at Nov2018) has 2 outlets in Singapore One at Orchard Road and the other at Tras Street. The one I went is in at Orchard Central (it is link to Somerset 313)
